Cool Kids Night
Discover our making museum in the dark
On Friday, October 14, 2022, Museum Joure kicks off the autumn vacations with a super fun activity: the Cool Kids Night. A special tour after closing time through a (twilight) dark museum. The evening lasts from 17.00 to about 21.00. You can join whenever you want. If you order online, companions receive a € 0.50 discount.
Things that only stand out with a flashlight on them
At night when it is (twilight) dark, the museum looks very different. Dark corners, exciting alcoves and crazy details on clocks, which only stand out when you shine a light on them. The route leads you past all the special places and, when the weather is nice, ends in the garden, where you can have a nice swing on our art swings and a cup of hot chocolate.
Dusk or really dark
Want a true nighttime experience at the museum? Then choose a start time after sunset (which is after 6:50 p.m. on Oct. 14). Prefer a less dark museum? Then start in the late afternoon.

During the fall break there is The Making Factory again! Especially for children from about 8 to about 14 years old.
And even outside of vacations, we are a super fun museum for kids.
