BSO outing to the museum
Would you like to take the children of the BSO to Museum Joure? You can! There are several options.
'Oan it wurk'
This drop-in activity is always available and can be done if you have at least 1 (adult) chaperone for every 5 children available. Great if you have an intern in the group! Each group is given a box with assignments. With this you will do all kinds of fun things, such as making a tea bag, grinding coffee, stamping your name in metal and much more.
Good to know: this activity is unaccompanied from the museum. A glass of lemonade is included with admission.
Book BSO outing 'Oan it wurk'
Book your BSO activity via the button below. If you come as an adult with 5 children, then book in the ticket system: 1 adult ticket for the accompanying person (*evt. museum card), 2 children's tickets full rate, 3 children's tickets 50% discount. Are you coming with 10 children and 2 adults? Then book this 2 times. You may also email educatie@museumjoure.nl or call 0513 - 41 22 83, and we will arrange it for you.
The Making Factory (during vacations)
During the school vacations, there is "The Make Factory," a program where children step into the shoes of a designer. First they do research in the museum and then make something beautiful in the Maaklokaal. On the Make Factory page you can see what activities are coming up this vacation and buy tickets.
Sometimes the activity requires a lot of supervision. If you are coming with a sizable BSO group, please contact us a week in advance at educatie@museumjoure.nl so we can discuss what supervision is needed.
The Making Factory (by appointment)
We can also arrange a Make Factory program for your BSO outside of school vacations. To do so, send an email to educatie@museumjoure.nl with your details and we will contact you about the date, activity and exact program.
We charge a guidance fee of € 100 for this program (for max 20 children). Depending on the program, there is an additional material charge of approximately € 1.50 to € 5.00 per child.
Also a garden full of fun
When the weather is nice, the museum garden is also a place full of fun. Between the old trees and warehouses hang beautiful, large swings in summer. Children can float away for a while; a nice ending to a super fun BSO outing!
