After a closure due to the corona virus of almost six months, Museum Joure will open its doors again on June 5! In the meantime, the gardens and wharves of the museum have been beautifully refurbished. The museum is again ready to receive the public. Booking a ticket is still required. You can do so on the website of Museum Joure.
Coronaproof visit well possible
Given the size of the museum, there is plenty of room to coronaproof visitors. You can easily keep 1.5 meters distance in the museum as well as in the museum garden. The museum café De Túnkeamer remains closed for the time being. Visitors can of course get a free cup of coffee, which is included in the entrance fee. On the quay is a nice dispensing point for coffee-to-go.
Please note that it is mandatory to wear a mouth guard when visiting and, of course, you must book a ticket with a time slot in advance. You can do that at www.museumjoure.nl.
