Summer exhibition at the Museum Joure

June 23, 2022 09: 00 - September 18, 2022 17:00

From June 23 to September 11, 2022, Stichting Keunst en Keur is organizing a summer exhibition in the exhibition space of the Museum Joure.

Two artists from completely different disciplines but with the same source of inspiration: their love of nature and landscape.

Nantsje Vonk-Rienstra (Vught) is a visual artist, the technique of screen printing is her form of expression. Her photographic images are the starting point. The work on paper consists of small editions. The works on linen are unique.

Her website www.enerveer.nl explores various applications of screen printing: including on linen, canvas, glass and wood. Uniques in mixed media (e.g. painting and screen printing). e-mail: nantsje@enerveer.nl

Harm Bron (Heerenveen, www.atelierdebron.nl), silversmith.Harm also seeks his inspiration in nature. Natuer is Foarm yn Beweging.

Nature, shapes, sounds, colors, an endless source of inspiration. He feels rich and grateful that he can capture these feelings and emotions in a piece of jewelry and let them come to life in a combination of gold, silver, beautiful gemstones and various other exciting materials.

During this exhibition some hats of the well-known milliner Hillegonda Hoogvliet are also on display. Harm Bron, during a cooperative project with the milliner and the Guild of Frisian gold and silver smiths, has made special objects on a number of hats. A unique exhibition of craftsmen!

On view during Museum opening hours.
