If anyone can tell beautifully about the flora and fauna, but also about the history of the Nationaal Landschap Zuidwest Fryslân, it is Jan Tijsma. As a nature photographer, he can be found in nature almost every day. During all those moments 'outside' he has collected beautiful, colorful visual material. You will see and hear it during this lecture/presentation at the members' evening, which is also open to non-members.
Walk-in from 8:30 p.m., start at 8:45 p.m. Tickets order at the bottom of this page.
"Twelve months of landscape, nature and birds"
Since 2008, National Landscape Southwest Fryslân has been the working area of photographer Jan Tijsma. He has made several presentations about this special area. At the annual members' evening he talks about his hobby and takes us on the road into the landscape with a color- and sound-rich audiovisual "Twelve months of landscape, nature and birds". Jan is Grut Ambassador of the National Landscape, volunteer with nature organizations and as such also connected to visitors center Mar and Klif. There, many of his photographs can also be admired. With his lectures in recent years he has allowed thousands of enthusiasts to enjoy his hobby and passion.
