From Tuesday, May 3 to Friday, May 6, there will be another Make Factory in Museum Joure, for children from about 6 to 14 years of age. This vacation the schedule includes making a self-designed and printed flag line. Costs for the Make Factory are the normal entrance fee of € 3.50 per child plus a surcharge of € 1.50. Signing up in advance (possible from April 27) is required. Note: full=full! Don't want to or can't join the Make Factory? Then get to work independently with assignments from toolbox 'Oan it wurk'. For this you only pay the entrance fee.
What do you do at the Make Factory?
This vacation at the Make Factory the focus is on the technique of printing. You will use that technique to make a flag line. This fits nicely with the week of May 4 and 5! The program consists of several parts. First you will explore the museum, looking at printed materials and learning about the printing process in our museum print shop. Then you'll experiment with printing in the Making Room. Finally, you will design and make different flags, which you will eventually attach to a line. There are several starting times in one day. Please note, space for the Make Factory printing is limited. Full=full, so book online at www.museumjoure.nl. Booking is available starting April 27.
Can't or won't participate in the Make Factory? Then the Oan it wurk program is a nice alternative. Using toolbox 'Oant it wurk' you will do all kinds of fun things, like making a tea bag and grinding coffee. This activity is for children of all ages. Booking in advance is not required for this activity, but recommended!
