Neighborhood Day

September 23, 2017 14:00 - 17:00

Museum Joure is participating in Neighborhood Day this year. All Jousters can enter 'neighbor' Museum Joure free of charge on 23 September to enjoy together the Jouster history of Douwe Egberts, the clockmakers, silversmiths and copper casters. After the visit, Jousters can chat in the museum café while enjoying a free cup of coffee or tea.

All Jousters will receive an invitation in the mail in the 3rd week of September. On presentation of this invitation, two people may enter the museum free of charge on September 23 between 2 and 5 pm. They will also receive a free cup of coffee or tea. The neighbourhood day is a great opportunity to get acquainted with each other and with the history of Joure.

Neighbor's Day is an initiative of Douwe Egberts and the Oranjefonds to bring neighbors together. Museum Joure would like to contribute to this by welcoming Jousters to the museum and telling them about the history of the companies and crafts that have been important to Joure.
