Knitting café in Coffee and Tea House

The knitting café is open again during the winter season! Every Wednesday morning enthusiastic knitters come together to talk to each other, but especially to knit together. The cozy Coffee and Tea House of Museum Joure lends itself well for it. In one of the garden rooms of Pand 99, Nelly, the wife of C.J. de Jong, may have sat down with a handcraft because the light and the view of the chestnut tree is so beautiful. Now the knitters here inspire each other with new knits, often from the most beautiful knitting wool. The ladies learn from each other. Exchanging patterns, giving each other tips. A great way to relax. The adjacent Binnenplak with contemporary exhibitions is another reason to stretch your legs and enjoy art.
